Rachel and villain Victor are excellent in this dramatic chloroform scene! While Rachel tells her friend on the phone about a man she saw following her, the guy appears behind her and soaks a cloth. When Rachel hangs up, the guy pushes her against a wall and chloroforms her. Rachel fights hard but then slowly slips into unconsciousness. She slides down to the floor.
